Herniated disc is a common terminology for spinal disc which changes its normal shape and position. A disc which is having annular tear is also called as ruptured discs. These are very complicated conditions and many of the patients never understands this kind of basic condition and they generally don’t remember about herniation’s which occurs to them. Normally herniated disc occurs because of degenerative process inside the spinal code. It is normal condition and degenerative disc is a disease in which the spinal process causes the discs to get dried and shrink. Many people faces this problem when they reaches at the age of 30 and some people face this problem when they are younger than this age. Generally it is not very problematic in majority of the people and in very rare cases it gives a pain or any other kind of symptoms. As the disc gets dehydrates, our nucleus gets shrink in mass and diameter which many cause unbalanced pressure on our disc. It is most commonly seen that generally herniated discs are discovered after an accident. Many times herniations are often blamed due to accident and it is named as injuries but actually it has existed for moths ago. |
