Ibuprofen

Ibuprofen is an over the counter pain reliever for mild to moderate pain.  It can help reduce fever, swelling and soreness.  Ibuprofen has been used as a pain reliever since the 1960s.  It is commonly marketed under the names of Advil, Motrin and Nurofen.  You can purchase it in any drug store or grocery store.  This pain reliever is best used by people with ulcers and other stomach conditions since it is easier on the stomach than aspirin.
The chemical name for ibuprofen is iso-butyl-propanoic-phenolic acid.  It is a safe and effective for chronic pain relief.  However, people with heart conditions should not use ibuprofen unless they are advised to by their medical doctors.  The use of ibuprofen is no allowed for those who are about to undergo heart surgery.  Ibuprofen should not be taken with aspirin because this can produce dangerous side effects.  Symptoms associated with an overdose include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.  Some people can experience dizziness, headaches, nosebleeds, a rash or fluid retention when using this pain reliever.  If you are taking this pain reliever for chronic pain relief you should remain under the supervision of your medical doctor.  You should always tell your doctor if you are taking this or any other over the counter drugs for chronic pain relief.
